Omar Marmoush scored a brace as Manchester City humiliated Newcastle United 3-1 to qualify for EFL Carabao Cup final, MySportDab reports.
It was a one sided encounter which saw a massive 5-1 result in aggregate between both teams after both legs were played.
First Half Report
The game started and wasted no time in turning 1-0 after a beautiful goal from Omar Marmoush which gifted Manchester City the much needed lead.
It was scary for Newcastle United who were all over the place unable to do much as Marmoush scored again in the 29th minute to make it 2-0.
Tijjani Reijnders increased the lead to 3-0 in the 32nd minute which already put the game to rest before they both headed inside for a break.
Second Half Report
The game continued with more action being played by both teams. It was already too late for the visitors who still couldn’t do much.
Anthony Elanga pulled one goal back in the 62nd minute which was assisted by Thiaw as things became 3-1 while they carried on.
The match came to an end with Manchester City claiming a 3-1 Victory after 90 minutes against Newcastle United to setup a Carabao Cup final against Arsenal who beat Chelsea last night.
