Marc Guehi was on target as Manchester City qualify for the Emirates FA Cup next round after beating Salford 2-0, MySportDab reports.
It wasn’t an easy game despite it being seen as a match that Pep Guardiola side would have scored more goals.
First Half Report
The match started with a lot of expectations which both teams needed to make something happen in any way possible.
An own-goal from Dorrington made things 1-0 in the 6th minute as Manchester City were throwing so much pressure on them before the goal.
There was so much work done by the away side who faced pressure all through the 45 minutes of action which was one side.
It ended after 45 minutes with Salford behind against the Premier League giant who couldn’t make much happen aside the own-goal.
Second Half Report
The match resumed with more being put in by both teams. It was an end to end challenge which the lower League side proved to be solid.
The opportunities kept on coming with nothing happening for the Premier League who had all the possession.
Marc Guehi scored in the 81st minute before the game came to a conclusion with Manchester City claiming a 2-0 victory against Salford.
