Kylian Mbappe scored a brace as Real Madrid go top of La Liga table after beating Villarreal 0-2, MySportDab reports.
It was a one man show which saw the Los Blancos claimed the needed result as they await what Barcelona would play tomorrow.
First Half Report
The match began with good play coming from both side who were very competitive and pushed with everything they had.
It was back to back action between them as opportunities soon followed through but none could find that final touches to make things count.
Nothing could separate Villarreal and Real Madrid as they headed for the break with things staying 0-0 between them after 45 minutes.
Second Half Report
They came for the remaining 45 minutes with a decision and aim of making sure they sealed the needed three points.
However, it was Kylian Mbappe who broke the deadlock lock with his wonderful goal which came in the 47th minute to make it 0-1.
The action carried on between both teams who were solid enough despite what the scoreline was showing as they approached the 90th minute.
