The match had moments which saw both nations teasing themselves but it wasn’t happening as things stayed goalless.
More chances came but none resulted in a goal which could have been better for Ivory Coast who saw more of the ball going forward before the first half ended.

The game resumed with both coaches knowing they had to make some adjustments to make sure their team do things different.
Amad Diallo was able to break the deadlock with his goal which came in the 49th minute as the scoreline became 1-0.
Kessie was the man who delivered the assist which turned things around for the Champions as they pushed on for more.
The match finished with Ivory Coast claiming a narrow 1-0 victory against Mozambique who gave them a good fight which wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
