New Contract Extension? Ruben Amorim Casemiro Plan CONFIRMED!

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim’s plan for midfielder Casemiro has been confirmed amid uncertainties swirling around the player’s Old Trafford future, MySportDab reports.

Casemiro will run out of his Man United contract at the end of the season and will be free to enter into contract talks with new clubs in January.

He has been linked to a host of top clubs in Europe, including Saudi clubs as he nears the end of his four-year deal at United.

According to talkSport, Amorim is intent on keeping Casemiro on a new deal with his current contract expiring soon.

Amorim’s decision to keep Casemiro beyond his contract tenure is not coming as a surprise. Casemiro has seamlessly gelled into the Portuguese’s United midfield setup this season.

He has played 10 of United’s 11 Premier League games, scoring three goals plus one assist and is tipped to continue playing a key role in the former Sporting Lisbon’s boss setup at United.

Man United’s hierarchy are expected to support Amorim’s decision to keep Casemiro but on the condition of having his wages slashed.

Casemiro is among the top earners at Manchester United with an estimated weekly wage of £300,000. The Red Devils will hope to convince the player to accept a paycut to finalize a new contract extension or allow him leave as a free agent.

Casemiro has racked up 81 appearances for Man United across all competitions, scoring 12 goals with seven assists.

It is still unclear whether the Brazilian sensation will accept new terms with United to trigger the one-year extension clause in his deal with the club, but he remains top on Amorim’s midfield options for United as it stands.
