FT: Newcastle 2-1 Manchester City, Harvey Barnes BRACE Sink CITIZENS! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Harvey Barnes scored twice as Newcastle United claimed an important 2-1 victory against Manchester City, MySportDab reports.

City failed to capitalize on the opportunity of moving into second position on the Premier League table which is currently occupied by Chelsea.

First Half Report 

It was a good game plan from both managers who came into the encounter to make sure they claimed the maximum points.

They both squared up against themselves doing everything possible to get ahead, but it wasn’t coming through.

Newcastle United and Manchester City had to settle for a 0-0 scoreline after 45 minutes of action which was witnessed between the both of them.

Second Half Report 

The game resumed with more action being seen from both ends of the pitch. Newcastle United took the lead in the 63rd through Harvey Barnes.

The game came through an assist from Bruno Guimarães who did well enough on his end which made it 1-0.

Ruben Dias leveled things 1-1 with a goal in the 68th minute as they pushed on. Harvey Barnes restored the lead for his side in the 70th minute.

Newcastle United were able to claim the 2-1 victory against Manchester City after 90 minutes of action at the St James Park.
