Enzo Maresca has dropped update concerning Cole Palmer injury ahead of their game against Burnley, MySportDab reports.

Chelsea are preparing for their weekend match which is expected to be another crucial one for their fight to remain top four.

Earlier, Cole Palmer returned to training with other teammates after staying out for a period of time with an injury.

His return was greatly welcome by Maresca, but he wasn’t looking at rushing things with the player ahead of their match this weekend.

According to Nizaar Kinsella, he confirmed the update from the Chelsea manager who delivered a bad news for the fans.

Here Is What Was Said:

“He is probably not available for tomorrow for sure, Barcelona for sure or Arsenal for sure.

“Unfortunately, he had an accident at home where he hit his toe but it is nothing important but he won’t be back in the next week. (His toe) it’s fractured.

The situation isn’t looking good as many who were expecting to see the player make his return earlier than expected.

Cole Palmer won’t play any part against Burnley as confirmed by Enzo Maresca who is also in no rush to get the player back on the pitch.
