The Atlas Cubs of Morocco beat Argentina 0-2 to win the FIFA U20 World Cup title, MySportDab reports.
They become the second African team to win the tournament after Ghana who won it back in 2009 by defeating Brazil 4-3 on penalty.
First Half Report
It was a huge game for both U20 national who had so much on the line to play for. It wasn’t an easy clash for both sides who started well.
Yassir Zabiri scored the lead in the 12th minute which saw Morocco took an early lead 0-1 as they pushed forward for more.
Many were expecting the Argentina U20 to cruise through the final match. Things wasn’t easy for the side of have won the tournament on many occasions.
Yassir Zabiri doubled the advantage with another goal in the 29th minute making sure it was 0-2 to be good for the Atlas Cubs.
The first half ended with the African team on top after an exceptional performance which made sure they were in control.
Second Half Report
The second half resumed with a lot more action which both teams did well enough to ensure they got it going.
There was nothing much that needed to be done by Morocco U20 who made sure they make history by beating Argentina 0-2 to win the World Cup.
