Arne Slot have addressed the issue concerning a fine for Hugo Ekitike after his celebration led to a red card, MySportDab reports.
The Liverpool striker had a moment which was followed by massive backlash from so many people for his actions.
The striker scored against Southampton in their Carabao Cup clash and resulted to celebrating by taking off his shirt.
He was already on a yellow card before his celebration which led to another card that resulted in his sending off.
Aftermath of his actions there have been a lot of backlash which he faced as rumors made round that he would be fined.
According to Fabrizio Romano reports, he confirmed the whole decision with the fine and celebration during his press conference.

“Hugo didn’t get any fine. I spoke to him. He said sorry straight away to his team-mates”.
“You are allowed at this club to make a mistake without getting fined. He’s young, he’s a fantastic human being”.
The comments from the Liverpool boss confirms there won’t be an issues with everything that happened.
Hugo Ekitike have also offered his apology which was made online following the event that took place against Southampton.
