OFFICIAL: Benfica Unveils Jose Mourinho As New Manager

Benfica have officially announced and unveiled Jose Mourinho as their new manager, MySportDab reports.

The Portuguese coach return to where he started out his career as a coach with the club and also with Porto.

Jose Mourinho arrival have been welcomed with open arms as Benfica made sure they put in the call immediately the opportunity presented itself.

Their former manager Bruno Lage was shown the exit door after the club lost from a 2-0 lead at home against Qarabag FK.

The decision was fast track as they sacked their former manager by midnight with Mourinho talks already advanced.

The move is official and the Portuguese coach have been announced as their new manager who is expected to turn things around.

“No other club that I have ever coached before has been able to make me feel as motivated as Benfica does.”

The changes by Benfica came as no surprise after some poor performance by the club which started off during the Club World Cup.

Jose Mourinho will commence his job immediately and he will be expected to take a trip down to Stamford Bridge in the coming week for a Champions League match.
