Manchester United Reach Agreement For Antony Transfer

Manchester United have agreed terms for the exit of wantaway winger Antony, MySportDab reports.

Antony fell in the ranks of players set for the exit this summer after falling out of favour in new manager Ruben Amorim’s squad.

He spent last season on loan to Real Betis and is set for another departure to the La Liga side this summer.

According to the Telegraph, United have agreed terms with Real Betis for the transfer of the player. Details of the agreement reveal it is another loan deal, but this time, with a buy option.

Antony shone bright on his loan shift with Real Betis last season. He scored five La Liga goals in 17 appearances, and provided two assists.

He also played a key role in the team’s run-up to the UEFA Europa Conference League final, scoring four goals plus three assists.

MySportDab understands Real Betis were open to a permanent deal with United for the player, but are now forced to settle for another loan deal due to paucity of funds.

However, with the buy option included, the La Liga side as re likely to explore a permanent signing of the player should he record another impressive shift.

Antony will be the second out-of-favor Man United player to leave for La Liga this summer after Marcus Rashford signed for Barcelona.

Other key names in the United squad that may leave before the end of the transfer window are Kobbie Maino and Tyrell Malacia.

Maino is reportedly open to a new challenge away from the Old Trafford club after struggling for game time under Amorim. Malacia told the club he is ready to leave this summer and has been linked to another loan exit to Eredivisie.
