Jamal Musiala Horror Injury Update CONFIRMED

Bayern Munich didn’t only crash out in the quarterfinals of the 2025 World Cup, but suffered a scary injury blow with Jamal Musiala, MySportDab reports.

Just a few days after being elevated to a marquee status by being assigned the club’s iconic number 10 shirt, Jamal suffered a scary ankle injury in the quarter-final tie against PSG.

The German sensation had tried to challenge for the ball when he collided with PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and crashed to the ground with an scary-looking ankle fracture.

He was carted off the field on a stretcher with fears that might be the end of his season with the Bundesliga giants.

However, an update on the injury as shared by Fabrizio Romano shows the player may not miss the rest of next season as previously thought.

According to the report, Jamal Musiala will be out of action for up to four to five months. This means he will catch up with the first half of the league as the 2025-26 Bundesliga has been scheduled  to kick off on on August 22.

Jamal remains a key part of the Bayern Munich squad and has been tipped to play a big role in Vincent Kompany’s Bavarian squad next season

The injury is coming a few days after he was assigned the club’s iconic number 10 shirt to herald a new chapter in his career with the Bundesliga giants.

However,  despite the setback,  he will hope to return stronger, reaching to the peaks of his game after the injury blow.

Meanwhile, it was a double blow for the Bundesliga champions as they not only lost the young playmaker to injury, but also lost the match losing  2-0 to PSG following goals by Desire Doue and a late strike by Ousmane Dembele.
