OFFICIAL! Real Madrid Unveil Franco Mastantuono

Real Madrid have announced the signing of Franco Mastantuono from River Plate, MySportDab reports.

Los Blancos confirmed the signing the of the top-rated youngster in a club statement shared on the club’s website and social media.

Details of the deal as revealed by close sources confirmed Mastantuono has put to pen to paper for a six-year contract with the La Liga giants until 2031.

Still at the nascent stages of his career, the 17-year-old will be expected to continue learning the cuts and thrusts of professional football with Los Blancos.

He will be groomed in the Castilla squad before integration into the club’s first team. Mastantuono began his career with River Plate from 2019 to 2024 when he was promoted into the first team.

Meanwhile, he had also had spells with other youth teams in the Argentinian league before the move to River Plate.

Doubling as a midfielder and forward, he was known for his prolific and standout performances for River Plate following his big break in 2024.

He had made 24 appearances for the team, scoring five goals and was also a standout performer for Argentina youth teams.

He scored a goal in nine appearances for Argentina U17 from 2022-23 and two goals in 12 appearances for the team’s U20 from 2023 and 2025.

In 2025, he won his first international cap with the Argentina senior national team and is expected to be another big talent to grace the sports.

Specifically, Mastantuono is known for his ball-striking skills and proficiency with free-kicks. He is also great on one-on-one situations and can combine both playmaking and attacking roles without stretching his abilities.

His move to Real Madrid marks a big milestone in his burgeoning career and is another top prospect to watch out for in the next few years.
