The match didn’t go as many expected to see the European giant dominate and score so many goals in 90 minutes.

Xabi Alonso and his side struggled against their Saudi Arabia oppponent who also have their new manager Simone Inzaghi.

The match looked balanced with both teams doing enough to keep their fans entertained while they search for an opener.

Real Madrid broke the deadlock in the 34th minutes through a goal from Gonzalo Garcia Torres which made it 1-0.

The buildup was good to the assist which came from Rodrygo making sure they took a much needed lead going forward.

The game tempo did not stop as things pushed on quick with Al Hilal getting a penalty which was calmly converted by Ruben Neves.

The Saudi Arabian club made things 1-1 before the break which gave them an opportunity to replan when they resumed.

It was a good game between both managers who were taking over their first competitive match after signing.

The game kept on with same scoreline hitting the 80th minutes and nothing to separate them both as they pushed.

The Spanish side could have won the game, but Federico Valverde late penalty was saved as Al Hilal held Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw.
