Angel Di Maria scored a brace as Benfica thrashed Auckland City FC 6-0 in their second match at the FIFA Club World Cup, MySportDab reports.
It was another heavy defeat for the New Zealand club after conceding 10 against Bayern Munich which makes it 16 goals.

It was a one sided game as expected between both clubs after their first match results which already showed fans what to expect.
It was a better first half for the New Zealand club who managed to make sure they don’t concede all through.
They held on fine until additional minutes of the first half which saw Angel Di Maria scored a penalty that made it 1-0.
The flood gates was opened in the second half as Vangelis Pavlidis 53rd minutes goal was able to make things 2-0.
Another goal from Renato Sanches was able to increase things further to 3-0 in the 63rd minutes with assist from Nicolas Otamendi.
It was 4-0 in the 76th minutes after a good setup saw Leandro Barreiro finished off neatly as the game carried on.
Leandro Barreiro made it a brace for himself in the 78th minutes which saw the scoreline turned 5-0 with more to play.
Angel Di Maria additional minutes penalty made sure Benfica finished the match with a 6-0 victory against Auckland City FC.
