There have been a lot of expectations for him to play with Enzo Maresca team for the upcoming season.
But a decision was made that he would go to Strasbourg instead of directly getting his opportunity.
The decision to send him to France is to ensure they get him more regular playing time to get her experience.
According to Ben Jacobs, he confirmed Chelsea new decision for the young player who is now expected to join the Premier League club.

“Understand Kendry Paez will now travel to America and stay with Chelsea during the Club World Cup.
“He is not registered as a player, at least not for the first part of the tournament.
“However, he will stay with the team and join training sessions.
Chelsea recently have some spots left in their Club World Cup team as they only took 28 players with them on their trip to the United States of America.
