Teams that have qualified for the knockouts of the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup have learned their opponents in the round of 16 and their possible road to the final, MySportDab reports.
As expected, European contingents have dominated the knockouts with PSG, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Juventus, Chelsea, and others through.
Teams from other continents include Inter Miami from the USA, Monterey from Mexico, Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia, Brazilian clubs Flamengo, Palmeiras, and Fluminense, and Botafogo from Argentina.
The next round will kick off on Saturday, June 28 with Palmeiras clashing with Botafogo while Chelsea take on Benfica in an eagerly anticipated fixture.
This will be followed by the next round of matches on Sunday, June 29 featuring Bayern Munich against Flamengo while reigning European champions PSG take on Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami.
On Monday, June 30, Inter Milan will play Fluminese while Manchester City, the only team with a perfect group stage record in the tournament, take on Saudi giants Al-Hilal.
The biggest fixture in this round comes up on Tuesday, July 1 when Real Madrid cross swords with Serie A giants Juventus.
And Borussia Dortmund vs Monterrey fixture on the same date wraps up this round before the quarter-finals.

Notably, the road to the final follows the same sequence as the fixtures. The winner of Palmeiras vs Botafogo match plays either Chelsea or Benfica in the quarter-finals and then either PSG, Inter Miami, Flamengo or Bayern Munich in the semis.
The winner of Inter Milan vs Fluminense match will play Manchester City or Al-Hilal in the quarter-finals and then face either Real Madrid, Juventus, Dortmund or Monterrey in the semis.
