OFFICIAL! Real Madrid Announce Signing Of Dean Huijsen (VIDEO)

Real Madrid have announced the signing of Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth, MySportDab reports.

Los Blancos confirmed the addition of the young center-back to their defensive options in a club statement via its official website.

“Real Madrid CF and AFC Bournemouth have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Dean Huijsen,” the statement reads (Watch Video on X).

They also confirmed Huijsen has penned down a five-year contract with the club till June 1, 2025.

Huijsen stole the spotlight following his stellar performances for Bournemouth this season. He has been an integral part of Andoni Iraola’s squad who are pushing to qualify for Europe next season.

Playing as a center-back, the 20-year-old has been remarkable with his strength, agility, and most importantly team play skills.

Despite playing as a defender, Huijsen is a typical playing center-back, contributing immensely to attack and initiating killer passes.

His attacking qualities distinguishes him from traditional center-backs, making him a perfect fit for Los Blancos’ planned new system under manager-elect Xabi Alonso.

He has three goals plus one assist for the Cherries this season and is expected to easily jelled into Los Blancos’ high-profile defense lineup.

Xabi Alonso, who is expected to succeed Carlo Ancelotti in the reins as Los Blancos new manager, is said to have played a big role in the signing of the youngster given his style of play.

Huijsen is expected to join Real Madrid in the 2025 FIFA Club World in August. He attracted interest from other Premier League clubs but chose to join Real Madrid. This move marks a significant milestone and a big leap in his career
