Garnacho’s Brother Mocks Ruben Amorim After UEL Final Loss

Alejandro Garnacho’s brother has mocked United manager Ruben Amorim after the team’s bottled Europa League final cracker against Tottenham Hotspur, MySportDab reports.

Garnacho started the game from the bench with Amorim deciding to start Mason Mount instead.

This swift change has been one of the talking points in the game among pundits, given Garnacho’s instant impact on the right after being subbed on in the second half.

The Argentine added more impetus to the United’s attack and had a fine shot on target a few minutes after coming on.

Given the sheer difference in the impact of the two players in the match, Amorim was questioned on his decision to tweak the lineup in that manner after the match.

His response was one of indifference as he referenced the big chance Garnacho missed in the semi-finals of the competition.

However, for Garnacho’s brother, who also doubles as an agent for the footballer, Amorim was simply unfair dropping his brother to the bench in the match and deserved what he got.

In a telling social media post, the dude mocked Amorim for the Cup loss, insisting his brother has been hardworking as every other player and deserved to start.

”Working as no one else, helping every round, coming from two goals in the last two finals, just to be on the pitch for 19 mins and get thrown under the bus. Wowe hahahahahaha,” he wrote on Instagram.

Garnacho indeed sharpened United’s attack after coming on, but it was not enough to overturn the deficit for the Red Devils.

Brennan Johnson’s flick deflected off Luke Shaw and looped into the net to secure victory for Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao and a slot in the Champions League next season.
