Ajax are seriously pushing toward signing Erik Ten Hag as their new manager ahead of the new season, MySportDab reports.
The former Manchester United manager has been out of job following his sack which happened early in the 2024/2025 season.
He is currently being linked with taking over Xabi Alonso as the new Bayer Leverkusen coach with the Spaniard set for Real Madrid move.
There were early claims that the former United manager was to join Borussia Dortmund, but nothing happened.
He has held on looking for other opportunities which have now presented him with two jobs that he could be deciding on soon.
According to Florian Plettenberg, he confirmed Ajax is serious about bringing back their former manager to handle things.

“Ajax are now seriously considering Erik ten Hag, following Francesco Farioli’s decision to leave the club. Confirmed.
“Paul Simonis is another candidate.
“Ten Hag is also on Bayer 04 Leverkusen’s list, as previously reported.
The Dutch club is hoping things will swing in their favor as they need a familiar face to revive the club back to its glory days.
Erik Ten Hag achieved huge success and built some quality players during his time with Ajax which helped the club also win titles.
