Erik Ten Hag Reveals SHOCK Punishment For Man United Players After Sevilla Loss! (Details)

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has revealed a shock punishment he meted out to Manchester United players after Europa League exit, MySportDab reports.

Erik Ten Hag was left fuming after what he described as “unacceptable” performance against Sevilla in the Europa League.

Manchester United treble-chasing campaign suffered a big blow when they traveled to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium in Spain to take on Sevilla in Europa League quarterfinal second leg.

Series of defensive and goalkeeping blunders saw the The Red Devils crash at Sevilla, suffering a shock 3-0 defeat.

A brace from En-Nesyri and Loic Balde sealed a win for the Laliga side and bundled the Old Trafford club from the competition.

Erk Ten Hag blasted Manchester United players for such a cringe display against Sevilla and was ready for a showdown with the players at Carrington with the appropriate punishment for the abysmal performance.

Speaking ahead of Manchester United’s FA Cup semifinal clash against Brighton, Erik Ten Hag admitted to using the ‘hairdryer treatment’ for the players.

He said;

“Yes, I use the hairdryer treatment and can go strong on it. It is about the timing of how to use it and the appropriate situation to use it.

“As a coach, communication style, you can pick many styles and this is one of them.”

The hairdryer treatment involves managers personally scolding the players for failing to meet up with the desired standards.

After the Europa League exit, Manchester United are now set for FA Cup semifinal clash against Brighton.

A win will see the Old Trafford club qualify for the Final where they will face City rivals Manchester City.
