OFFICIAL! Chelsea Announce Frank Lampard As New Coach

Frank Lampard have been appointed the new coach of Chelsea for the second time, MySportDab reports.

Premier League side Chelsea have announce that Frank Lampard will be taking over the vacant job of Graham Potter for now.

The deal will see the club legend and former manager come in once again to handle business like he did some years ago before his sack.

Lampard was said to have been holding talk with the club over returning as an interim which he sees as an opportunity.

He will be hoping his comeback can help the club achieve their goal after having to leave despite start well with a transfer ban.

The first time the England international was manager, Chelsea lost Eden Hazard to Real Madrid and they were also unable to make any new signings.

Frank Lampard was able to keep the team together finishing top four on the Premier League and also helping the team to FA Cup final.

Todd Boehly and his consortium are hoping he can savage something for the remainder of the season after spending a lot to hire and sack Graham Potter.

Chelsea today made the official announcement of Frank Lampard coming back to take over his job he lost some years ago.

“Frank is a Premier League Hall of Famer and a legend at this club.

“As we continue our thorough and exhaustive process for a permanent head coach, we want to provide the club and our fans with a clear and stable plan for the remainder of the season.

“We want to give ourselves every chance of success and Frank has all of the characteristics and qualities we need to drive us to the finish line.

“We have an important game against Wolves on Saturday and then we will turn our attention to our Champions League quarter-final in Madrid next week.

“We are all going to give Frank our full backing as we aim to get the best possible outcome from all our remaining games.’

Meanwhile Chelsea are still holding talks with other coaches who they feel could only agree on start afresh in a new season.

Talks were held with Julia Nagelsmann who was sack by Bayern Munich and replaced with Thomas Tuchel.

Luis Enrique also recently flew in to London to hold talks with the Premier League side over a possible move to happen.

As the case may be now, the Chelsea owners want to take their time in making a new permanent appointment.

Frank Lampard is the option they feel can get the job done for the main time while they continue holding talk with other suitable candidates.
