FT: Barcelona 3-0 Real Madrid, Dembele STRIKES! [VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS]

Ousmane Dembele strikes as Barcelona saw off Real Madrid in an El-Clasico friendly in the US, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

Barcelona kicked off their preseason proceedings with a defeat against Arsenal at the SoFi stadium after missing the scheduled friendly against Juventus due to a viral infection.

The La Liga champions needed to prove a point against arch domestic rivals at the AT$T Stadium after the later saw off Manchester United with a 2-0 win.

It was a strong and balanced display by the two teams right from the first half but Barcelona swung into an early lead with a 5th-minute strike by Ousmane Dembele.

The early goal was enough to take Barcelona into the first half break with a 1-0 lead.

Second Half Report

Real Madrid had the better of the game in the second half as they pushed for an equaliser all to no avail.

Both sides made several attempts on goal as the match progressed but could not find the back of the net.

Barcelona continued to mount threats when with the ball despite having a narrow 1-0 lead.

They had chances to extend the lead but could not make it count with Real Madrid equally making attempts to equalise.

As the game neared the end, Real Madrid proved more dominant with more attempts but were dealt a heavy blow with two late goals from Barcelona which sealed the win.

Fermin Lopez doubled the lead for the Catalans in the 85th minute before a stoppage-time strike by Ferran Torres sealed victory.

Barcelona ran out with a hard-fought 3-0 win after the final whistle and it was a great way to bounce back after defeat to Arsenal.
