Karim Benzema BLAST 2022 FIFA Awards With Shock Instagram Posts!

Real Madrid and former France international Karim Benzema has aimed a shock dig at the 2022 FIFA Awards with a series of shock Instagram posts, MySportDab reports.

Karim Benzema was among the final three who were tipped to clinch the award after Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

Lionel Messi was awarded the 2022 FIFA Best Men’s Player of the Year after winning the 2022 World Cup with Argentina.

Reacting to the award, Karim Benzema took to his Instagram story to post a meme of a French man in a ride shouting, “you are a liar.”

After the meme, Benzema dropped a list of all that he had achieved as a player within 2022. Dropping the list, he wrote, “The legend Karim Benzema from last August untill the end of FIFA Nomination period for the BEST Award with the club and national team.”

Karim Benzema’s list of his achievements is a swipe at the 2022 FIFA Best Men’s Player Awards which was won by Lionel Messi.

The former France International is making a case that he would have been the right person to win the award but was snubbed by FIFA.

Some of the achievements he listed on the post include his 63 goals haul, 21 assists, and other individual awards and honors he has garnered in the year with Real Madrid and France.

After listing his achievements and making a case for himself, Benzema followed up the post with a picture of himself smiling. He wrote, ” the most important thing is honesty.”

Karim Benzema had a sterling 2021-22 campaign, winning the Champions League, La Liga, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and several individual honors with Real Madrid.

However, he missed out from the 2022 World Cup which is believed to be a major determining factor that helped Lionel Messi win the award.
