Mason Mount scored a stunning goal from outside the box in Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge, MySportDab reports.

Chelsea resumed their Premier League campaign after the World Cup break with a resounding victory over Bournemouth.

The Blues dominated proceedings in the game from the start and were able to take the lead in the16th minute.

Kai Havertz opened the scoring for the Blues in the 16th minute, sliding in a cross from Raheem Sterling to give the Blues the lead.

Eight minutes later, Mason Mount doubled the lead for the Blues after a great build-up play by the home side.

After the first goal, Chelsea broke on a counterattack for another goal in the 24th minute. They nearly lost possession of the ball close to the Bournemouth box.

Mason Mount picked tbe ball up from outside the box and made no efforts to force his way into the opponent’s box again.

Instead, he smashed a powerful long ranger into the far post to double Chelsea’s lead.

It was another stellar performance by the 23-year-old England international.

He has now scored two Premier League goals for the Blues this season.

Chelsea went on to make it 3-0 late in the first half after Christian Pulisic scored, but the goal was ruled out for an alleged foul in the buildup.
