FT: Portugal 3-2 Ghana, Cristiano Ronaldo STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Cristiano Ronaldo scored as Portugal claimed a 3-2 victory against Ghana at the FIFA World Cup 2022, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half was a dominating one for the Portuguese who had everything under control going forward in what saw them going close on many occasions.

Ghana didn’t start so badly as they did well enough to hold their opponent from making anything happen in the match which saw them facing a lot of pressure throughout.

Cristiano Ronaldo had a glorious opportunity from a wonderful position but the free-agent striker was unable to finish off for Portugal which could have easily made the scoreline change from goalless.

The game carried on between the both of them but nothing could happen as they entered the 30th minutes mark with the scoreline still going in favor of none of them pushing on.

The first half ended with Ghana holding Portugal to a 0-0 goalless scoreline after 45 minutes of football which was played between the both of them.

Second Half Report

The second half was more alarming for the Portuguese who were playing with more urgency and looking forward to taking an early lead which didn’t happen.

Ghana had everywhere on lockdown as they were ready to defend until the end of the game which saw their coach deploying more power to the defense as the game progressed.

Portugal were not relax also as they had some moments of panic which was quickly dealt with by the defenders who were on high alert and waiting for any troubles.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored from the penalty spot to make it 1-0 in the 65th minute of the game which saw a Ghanaian player bringing down the striker who then stepped up and made it count.

Andre Ayew scored in the 75th minute of the game which saw the Black Stars pulling back level in good fashion which made the scoreline 1-1 between them as it Carried on.

The Portuguese soon charged up by taking back the lead in the 78th minute of the game which came from Joao Felix which made the scoreline 2-1.

Another goal followed in the 80th minute from Rafael Leao who made it 3-1 with Bruno Fernandes making it a brace of hat-trick in the match.

Osman Bukari scored in the 89th minute of the game which saw the scoreline close to 3-2 as the match continued with a lot happening between them going forward.

The match came to an end with Portugal claiming a 3-2 victory against Ghana who gave it all their best but couldn’t make it happen after 90 minutes.
