Robert Lewandowski Bags BRACE In Barcelona Victory (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Robert Lewandowski scored a brace as Barcelona thrashed Elche 3-0 in their laliga match, MySportDab reports.

The home side had everything working out for them going forward as their opponent was shown a red card in the first half.

Gonzalo Verdu was sent off for Elche in the 14th minute of the encounter after a rash tackle that resulted in the playing sent out of the game.

Barcelona took the lead in the 34th minute of the encounter after a good assist coming from Alejandro Balde which Robert Lewandowski scored to make it 1-0.

The match progressed further with another goal coming from Memphis Depay in the 41st minutes which was assisted by Alejandro Balde as the scoreline 2-0.

Pedri scored another goal which was unfortunately ruled out by VAR in the 44th minute before another red card was shown to the away side who saw Rodriguez sent off.

The first half ended with Barcelona going into the break with a 2-0 advantage against Elche after 45 minutes of football played between them for the encounter.

The second half was another one sided 45 minutes which the home side were wasteful instead of scoring freely with the two man advantage.

Barcelona increased their lead in the 48th minute with Robert Lewandowski making it 3-0 from an incredible finish which saw him making it his brace for the game.

Elche did well to keep themselves from going down further as the game entered the final 10 minutes left to be played and scored was still the same thing.

The match failed to provide anything, with them hitting the 90 minutes mark as they went inside the extra time, which saw the away side doing so well without two players.

The encounter ended with Barcelona claiming all three points from a 3-0 win against Elche, who played most of the game with two men down.
