First Half Report

The first half between both of them wasn’t that bad going forward in the 45 minutes in which only one goal was scored after everything is done.

Villarreal scored the advantage in the 8th minute of the encounter after an amazing teamwork effort saw Arnaut Danjuma benefitting from an opportunity and made it 1-0.

Villarreal Vs Bayern Munich

The goal came as a shock to Bayern Munich who continued pushing hard hoping to level things immediately which was looking very difficult for them to make happen.

Another goal was scored in the 41st minute of the game coming from Francis Coquelin who unfortunately his finish was reviewed and later ruled out by VAR for offside.

That was how the first half played out with Villarreal taking a 1-0 advantage into the break against Bayern Munich after 45 minutes of football played between them.

Second Half Report

The second half was a good one which started with opportunities coming from both ends in the early but nothing could come out of all their efforts going forward.

Villarreal remained on alert against a free-scoring side who were pressing them very hard with them looking to make a comeback after a woeful first half.

Bayern Munich continue to dominate things hoping to score the equalizing goal which didn’t happen for them as their opponent had other plans of keeping things the way it was as they carried on.

Nothing changed as they carried on creating numerous amount of opportunities which the home side dealt with comfortably.

The encounter ended with the Bavarians unable to make anything happen as it finished with Villarreal 1-0 Bayern Munich giving the home side a slim advantage heading into the second leg of the clash.
