“I don’t think Rashford will be ready for tomorrow,” Solskjaer said.

“He’s currently receiving treatment, and didn’t join in training today. I think he will miss the match and a big doubt for the weekend.

“He made a surprise 60 or 70-yard sprint recovery run against City showed his hunger, and spirit in our work. It was worth it there and then but no one is happy to to lose players for games.

Dean Henderson will nos start his third successive Manchester United game for the first time ever.

Eric Bailly and Alex Telles could start in the Manchester United defence alongside Maguire, and Wan-Bissaka.

Nemanja Matic could return into the midfield alongside Fred.

Mason Greenwood, Daniel James, Greenwood, and Anthony Martial are likely to start in attack.
