Huge Blow For Arsenal As Atletico Madrid Rejects Second Bid For Thomas Partey

Arsenal has been dealt with a huge blow on their pursuit of Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey as Club rejects second bid from the Gunners, MySportDab reports.

Arsenal are yet to get a breakthrough to complete the signing of Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid.

Partey Arsenal

The Gunners won’t be giving up yet as they will go back and come up with another bid for the Ghanaian player.

Arsenal’s pursuit of Atletico midfielder Thomas Partey is still doubted to be completed this summer transfer window.

The Guardian reports the Spanish capital club turned down the Gunner’s latest offer for their midfielder.

They will only accept an amount that meets the player’s release clause of £45.5m (€50m) before letting him go.

The 27-year-old Ghanaian international has been a dominant presence for his Club over the past few seasons.

If the Emirates Stadium outfit gets to sign Partey it will be a huge boost for their midfield as Guendouzi will leave Club.

Another player that is at the exit door is Ozil and Aubameyang who are both ready to depart Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta is also interested in the service of Wolves striker Raul Jimenez to replace departing Aubameyang.

We wait to see how it goes as Arsenal are still in talks with the Gabonese striker for a new deal.
