BREAKING! English Premier League Announce Summer Transfer Window Dates CONFIRMED (Details)

The English Premier League summer transfer window will officially open on July 27 and start live for 10 weeks until October 5, MySportDab reports.

MySportDab understands that Premier League clubs will now be able to buy and sell players after the end of the current season in two weeks.

According to Sky Sports, Premier League Clubs will also able to buy or sell players with EFL clubs in an extra transfer window from October 5th and closed at 5pm on October 16.

During the second transfer window, English Premier League clubs won’t be able to buy or sell players.

The transfer window dates had to be shifted because of the three-month Covid-19 break and subject to FIFA ratification.

It means the transfer window will extend the start of the 2020-21 season for three weeks or more with the new season set to get start on September 12.

The English FA Cup final is set for August 1 while the UEFA Champions League and Europa League will continue in August with Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Wolves still involved.

There is also a concern among clubs and agents that footballers from other countries may refuse to sign for English clubs because of the UK’s high Covid-related death rate.

That could become a real problem for clubs looking to improve their squads ahead of next season.
