FT: Bayern Munich 5-2 Frankfurt, Lewandowski And Muller On Target (Video Highlight)

7 goals thriller saw Bayern Munich outclassed Eintracht Frankfurt in a 5-2 scoreline which saw Lewandowski hit target, MySportDab reports. 

The home team Bayern started the game as clear favorite to claim all three points as they showed class in early stages of the game.

Leon Goretzka opened the goal scoring with just 17 minutes of play after Thomas Muller teasing cross.

The game proceeds with the home team leading 1-0 and taking full control of the ball possession 62% to 38%.

Thomas Muller doubles the lead 2-0 after scoring from an Alphonso Davies assist with just 41 minutes gone.

The referee stopped the match for VAR review of the goal which was later given to Bayern.

The first half ended with the 2-0 scoreline as the Bavarians enjoyed most of the first 45 minutes.

Lewandowski grabs the third goal with just one minute into the second half after Kingsley Coman pass the ball to the Polish man.

The scoreline increase to 3-0 but things started going wrong for the Bundesliga champion.

Frankfurt pulled one goal back from Martin Hinteregger after a corner kick by Sebastian Rode to make it 3-1.

Martin Hinteregger headed home another goal for Eintracht Frankfurt to make it 3-2 with assist from Rode.

Bayern Munich reorganized themselves and Alphonso Davies lashed on a lose ball to smash one in to make it 4-2.

After proving to be the best player for the Frankfurt team, Hinteregger scored an own goal to gift Bayern a 5-2 lead.

No goal was recorded as the Bavarians once again claim another three points as they strengthen their lead on the league table.
