Real Madrid vs Barcelona: New Negreira Case Twist

Real Madrid are pushing to make sure Barcelona gets full punishment as UEFA open investigation into the Negreira case once again.

There is a believe that with new evidence being submitted, it will be enough to pin down Barcelona for their involvement.

Real Madrid want full punishment as they recently submitted over 50,000 copies of evidence implication their rival.

UEFA also confirmed they have opened up the case after Madrid brought out some documents related to the case that was already going on.

“UEFA can confirm that it has received from Real Madrid CF a substantial number of documents related to the ongoing investigation into FC Barcelona in the matter involving José María Enríquez Negreira, former vice-president of the Technical Committee of Referees of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (the so-called ‘Negreira case’).

“UEFA’s Ethics and Disciplinary Inspectors have also received these latest documents, which they will assess as part of their ongoing review of the case.”

Things are not looking so good for Barcelona as Real Madrid want them to be stripped of titles along other punishments.

According to reports from the Touchline, they confirmed saying: “Real Madrid want Barça to be stripped off all the titles they won from 2001-2018.

“These are the years Barcelona paid money to Negreira. Real Madrid sent a 50,000-page document with evidence and witness statements to UEFA.

Florentino Perez and his entire team knows there is more than enough in months to persecute Barca with all the evidence that has been made available.

However, the current La Liga Champions came out to deny any claims of an investigation involving them and the said Negreira Case.

They said the investigation originally opened in 2023 was never closed and remains ongoing till this day. The club also said that Real Madrid only submitted new evidence to what was already on ground.

They also went on to confirm they have not received any new request from UEFA regarding the case. For now it remains an investigation which no findings has been made to serve any punishment or sanctions.
