Paris Saint-Germain are looking into the possibilities of making an approach for Barcelona midfielder, Gavi ahead of the next transfer window.
The Spanish international has no interest for now in making any move elsewhere as Chelsea once made enquires, but they never pushed further.
Barcelona never made it known if they are open concerning any interest coming in for their midfielder who is believed to be in their long-term plans.
According to Transfer News Live, they confirmed the rumors concerning Paris Saint-Germain interest in making a move for the Midfielder.
“Paris Saint-Germain are exploring a move for Barcelona midfielder Gavi at Luis Enrique’s request.
“The PSG boss wants the French club to approach Barcelona, with a potential deal valued at around €40M.
“Barcelona currently have no clear intention of selling Gavi, while the midfielder remains focused on succeeding at the club.
Their reports confirms there is nothing tangible yet that would suggest this move will happen anytime soon between both clubs.
While Barcelona would want to keep the midfielder, there are also other talks of some players growing frustrated over lack of playing time.
With the like of Pedri, Olmo, Gavi, Fermin Lopez and others fighting to occupy a spot in that midfield, there could be some movement happening.
Paris Saint-Germain will continue to monitor the situation in which they would be opening an opportunity present itself.
Meanwhile, they won’t be the only team as Chelsea are still looking for Enzo Fernandez replacement after losing out on signing Lamine Camara who could be staying at Monaco for a long time.
Other teams would also fancy their chances of making an attempt to sign Gavi either in the January window or next summer.
All will depend on Barcelona and the player. However, both the player and club are happy with everything going on as they are not looking to part ways.
