Sunderland beat Tottenham 1-0 to send them deep into relegation zone on Roberto De Zerbi debut, MySportDab reports.
It wasn’t a pleasurable one for Spurs as they needed three points but couldn’t make anything much happen.
First Half Report

The game was a massive one for Roberto De Zerbi who is coming in at a point that they need to start making something happen or get relegated.
Tottenham started well with the mindset of getting all three points which wasn’t expected to come without a fight till the end from them.
Sunderland were well organized and did everything possible to push back everything that was thrown at them by Spurs.
Both teams couldn’t change the scoreline which stayed goalless after 45 minutes of action as they both headed inside for the break.
Second Half Report
It wasn’t a good second half for Spurs knowing they had all the pressure on their side and needed to deliver by all means.
The match carried on until Nordi Mukiele scored a beauty through Diarra assist which made it 1-0 in the 61st minute as play carried on.
Tottenham did everything possible but it wasn’t happening as Sunderland ended up with a 1-0 victory securing the maximum three points after 90 minutes.
