FT: Coventry 3-3 Manchester United, Devils QUALIFY For FA Cup FINAL! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Manchester United booked their ticket to the Emirates FA Cup final after beating Coventry City 2-4 on penalty shootout, MySportDab reports.

It will be a Manchester Derby for the FA Cup final this season after City eased past Chelsea yesterday with a narrow 1-0 victory.

Bruno Fernandes was part of the goal scorers as Erik Ten Hag made sidd struggled until penalties before they were able to qualify for the final.

The game had a lot of talks and for the lower League side, they stood no chance of making it through despite setting up a good record reaching the semifinal.

Coventry City came in prepared and they gave a good account of themselves from the early minutes which saw them doing well enough to remain in the match.

Scott McTominay was able to give Manchester United the lead from an exceptional finish in the 23rd minute with the assist coming from Diogo Dalot to make it 0-1.

Harry Maguire scored in the additional time of the first half making sure things became 0-2 with Bruno Fernandes making the assist which led to the goal.

Manchester United were good to go as they headed for the break with a 0-2 lead against Coventry City who couldn’t make much from the little opportunities they created.

The second half started well for the Devils who were able to increase their lead through Bruno Fernandes in the 58th minutes making sure things became 0-3.

Coventry City did not give up easily as they were able to pull one goal back in the 71st minute which saw Ellis Simms converting with an assist from Fabio Tavares to make it 1-3.

Manchester United were stunned again in the 79th minute after a shocking goal from Callum O’Hare which made sure the deficit was cut shorter with a scoreline of 2-3.

The game continued until a late penalty was committed by United which saw Haji Wright stepping up to make it count 3-3 as the game dragged to extra time.

The extra time was close between both teams and the only talking point was Victor Torp’s goal which unfortunately was chopped off by VAR before they headed for penalty shootouts

It was more than enough for Coventry City who held on so hard but couldn’t when it comes to penalty which Manchester United won 2-4 to make it into the final after 3-3 scoreline.
