BREAKING! Manchester United Players Want Erik ten Hag Sacked

Manchester United

Manchester United players are apparently losing confidence in Erik ten Hag as United continue to struggle for form this season, MySportDab reports.

United were back to gears in the top-four race since the beginning of 2024, winning six matches, and maintaining an unbeaten streak of seven matches.

Against Fulham at Old Trafford, the gains came crashing down as they stumbled to a shock 2-1 defeat – their first league loss at home to the Cottagers in decades.

The loss to Fulham followed another consecutive Premier League defeat to cross-city rivals Manchester City at the Etihad.

With two straight defeats, United’s hopes of Champions League football next season is gradually fading away as they have fallen 11 points behind Aston Villa in fourth place and 6 points behind Tottenham Hotspur in fifth place with Spurs having a game in hand.

Amidst the club’s dwindling fortunes in the Premier League, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who recently completed his 27.7% takeover of the club, is head-on with his drive to revolutionize footballing operations at Old Trafford.

He has signed former Man City football chief Omar Berrada as United new CEO with Newcastle United sports director Dan Ashworth also set to link up with the INEOS chief to headline the unfolding new project at the red side of Manchester.

According to Daily Mail, Manchester United players believe Erik ten Hag could be axed at the end of the season in the wake of sweeping changes orchestrated by Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The report adds some members of the United squad are still confident in Erik ten Hag but do think the Dutch’s job is at risk at the end of the season if the club fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Erik ten Hag is under pressure despite his optimism he would fit into Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s new nomenclature at Manchester United.

He has a year and three months left on his contract but could be dismissed at the end of the season with his ‘unconvincing’ showing so far this season.
