“I Will Leave Liverpool…,” Mo Salah Breaks Silence On Liverpool Future

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has broken his silence on his Liverpool future amidst reports he he could leave the club with Jurgen Klopp who is set to exit Anfield in the summer, MySportDab reports.

Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s top-of-the-table clash with Manchester City on Sunday, Salah told Sky Sport he will leave Liverpool but the club’s decision on new manager will not affect his decision to stay or leave Anfield.

The prolific forward said;

“One day, I will leave Liverpool but the decision on new manager will not affect my future.

“I remember when Klopp announced he is leaving. We had a meeting Hy 10:30 which is weird. I come in and saw his agent. I thought he has renewed his contract.

“And then Virgil van Dijk came and told me Jurgen Klopp was leaving…I was like: Why? Are you serious?

Mo Salah has contract with Liverpool till 2025 but was strongly linked with a move to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia last summer.

According to reports, Saudi clubs are ready to launch another transfer push to sign Mohamed Salah from Liverpool at the end of this season after the Reds rejected a record £150m last summer to keep the player.

It is still unclear whether Liverpool will part ways with Mohamed Salah or not but it is believed Salah’s decision will play a big role in his future at Anfield.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp is set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season. The German struck a bolt from the blue in January when announced his decision to step down at the end of the season.

Salah was among crop of Liverpool players, including Virgil van Dijk who were reportedly linked to Anfield exit at the wake of Klopp’s decision to leave in the summer.

The Egyptian forward has now confirmed his decision to leave Liverpool will not depend on whether Jurgen Klopp leaves the club or not.
