Real Madrid made it through into the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League beating RB Leipzig 2-1 on aggregate after playing 1-1, MySportDab reports. 

It wasn’t an easy match for Carlo Ancelotti’s side who made sure they dominated play and made massive breakthroughs that failed on many occasions.

The Los Blancos were able to make it through into the next round which was made possible due to their resilience and commitment in the encounter.

It was close for both teams who struggled to make anything from the first 45 minutes they couldn’t find any way of operating forward despite all their efforts.

RB Leipzig came into the match knowing they were one goal down and they needed to make sure something happened with the scoreline to have any hopes.

For Real Madrid, they were only interested in seeing what they could make happen in the match which they were already at an advantage as things progressed.

The game failed to provide anything as they were able to square up each other matching themselves for what they could be produced and make happen.

RB Leipzig held Real Madrid to a 0-0 goalless scoreline which wasn’t expected between them based on how things happened back in Germany which was in favor of the side from Spain.

The second half was dramatic and more engaging as the goals came in from both ends the fans had a lot to celebrate as they pushed on.

Real Madrid was able to break the deadlock which happened in the 65th minute with a sublime finish which came through Vinicius Junior to make sure things became 1-0.

RB Leipzig wasted no time in responding through a stunner from Willi Orbán making sure things were 1-1 in the 68th minute which brought more life to the game.

The match was good as Real Madrid were able to ensure winning was made possible after claiming an aggregate winning of 2-1 with the scoreline against RB Leipzig ended 1-1.
