Real Madrid Teams Bus Crashes In Terrific Car Accident In Germany

Real Madrid team bus, conveying the players to Germany for their Champions League match against RB Leipzig, has been involved in a terrifying road accident, MySportDab reports.

According to reports, the Los Blancos were expected to fly in to Efurt in Germany for the match but were forced to land in Munich instead because of Airport strike.

After arriving in Munich, they had to take a couch to Efurt where they will play the match against RB Leipzig on Tuesday.

According to German outlet, BILD, the team had to travel 100 miles on the road to reach their destination.

While en route to Efurt, BILD confirmed the vehicle was involved in a terrifying crash against a Toyota as the driver was trying to switch to another lane.

Details of the accident reveal the bus has suffered a slight damage which could take up to £2,560 to repair. Scratches on the surface of the vehicle where it collided with the Toyota has also been reported with the mirror also broken.

All Real Madrid players who made the traveling squad were in the vehicle during the crash but it has been confirmed that none of the players, including the coaching staff were hurt in the crash.

Also, the vehicle could still continue on the journey as no critical component was damaged. After a delayed arrival, BILD confirmed the vehicle reached its destination at exactly 3pm with all the players and the coaching staff stepping off into the team hotel.

Jude Bellingham was the only big name that was spotted disembarking from the vehicle. We reported earlier Bellingham picked up a high-grade sprain during Real Madrid 4-0 win over Girona in La Liga and will miss action for 2-3 weeks.

Real Madrid will hope to kick off their Champions League knockout campaign with a win against RB Leipzig in Germany.
