FT: Tottenham 3-2 Brentford, Spurs Score QUICKEST EPL TRIPLE! [VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS]

Tottenham Hotspur survived Brentford scare to keep their top-four hopes alive with a dramatic 3-2 Premier League victory, MySportDab reports.

The high-flying Ange Postecoglou side got off to a nightmare start with Brentford driving the home side to the cleaners with a bumpy ride.

The Bees got off the mark with a 15th-minute goal by Maupay, no thanks to Tottenham’s schoolboy defending which proved costly.

Maupay’s 15th-minute curtain-raiser was enough to fire the away side into the lead before the break as Tottenham struggled effortlessly to nail home the equaliser.

Despite a commanding control of proceedings, the Tottenham slacked on the finishing, struggling to wear down the Bees’ compact defense.

It was a different ball game in the second half as Ange Postecoglou finally got his axes right with a more effective attacking formula enough to tear Brentford’s defense into pieces.

The hosts scored a triple of goals in eight minutes to turn the game on the its head. Destiny Udogie opened the scoring for the Spurs three minutes into the second half to restore parity.

A minute after Udogie’s strike, Brennan Johnson scored to give the homw side the lead. Seven minutes after Johnson’s goal, Richarlison registered his name in Tottenham’s scoresheet to make it 3-1.

The eight-minute goal-haul by an awakened Tottenham saw them ease to a 3-1 lead over Brentford with a flash.

But it appears the Bees were not ready to give up easily. Seven minutes after the hour-mark, Ivan Toney pulled one back for Brentford again to cut the goal arrears.

The game was poised for a nervy finish as Tottenham tried to preserve the lead while Brentford battled for an equaliser.

Tottenham soaked up the visitors’ late pressure to secure the lead and ran out with a 3-2 victory after the final whistle.
