Amad Diallo Likes SHOCK Man United Post After Being Dropped Vs Newport County

Manchester United youngster, Amad Diallo liked a shock post about his Manchester United fortunes after he was dropped in the club’s 4-2 victory over Newport County in the FA Cup fourth round, MySportDab reports.

Erik ten Hag started Antony and Alejandro Garnacho ahead of Diallo and axed off the Ivorien off the squad.

Reacting to the decision to drop the Ivorien youngster for the Newport County match, an anonymous Sunderland fan took to his social media handle and asked Diallo to return to Sunderland where he will have enough time to play than struggle on the bench with United.

The fan wrote;

“Here, Amad Diallo – if they’re not going to start you in the FA Cup away at Newport County it isn’t worth you giving them your time.

”Come home, come somewhere you are truly appreciated . . .’.

Amad Diallo liked the post and later deleted the reaction but eagle-eyed fans had already spotted the reaction.

Diallo, who joined Manchester United from Serie A, has struggled to nail down a regular spot at Manchester United. He was loaned to Sunderland last season, where he helped the team reach the playoffs.m, scoring 14 goals in 42 appearances.

After his Sunderland loan tenure expires Diallo returned to the United squad but is still struggling with his stop-start campaign with the club.

Diallo’s chances at United took a turn for the worst following his recent injury layoff that saw him miss action for weeks. He is back to full fitness but is down Erik ten Hag’s pecking order.

The 21-year-old was dropped off United’s matchday squad for the game against Newport County. Back from the sidelines, Diallo will hope to get back to gears with his Man United career. He has two years left on his contract.

Manchester United edged out Newport County with a 4-2 victory to qualify for the last 8 of the FA Cup. Kobbie Mainoo scored his first Manchester United while Antony broke his scoreless run to help the Red Devils scale through to the next round of the competition.
