Todd Boehly Breaks Silence On Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino After Brighton Win

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has broken his silence on the progress at Stamford Bridge so far under new manager Mauricio Pochettino, MySportDab reports.

Chelsea saw off Brighton in a five-goal thriller at Stamford Bridge to cap a sensational recovery from a dismal start to the campaign.

After an horrendous start to the season, Chelsea defeated Tottenham 4-1 at Tottenham Hotspur stadium, drew Manchester City in an eight-goal thriller at Etihad, and defeated Brighton 3-2 despite playing 10 men for 45 minutes.

Their last Premier League defeat was against Brentford at Stamford Bridge. Since, then, they have took on all big Premier League clubs with grit and grace.

Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly, made headlines for his regular visit to Chelsea dressing room to encourage the players after abysmal results under Mauricio Pochettino.

Now, it appears the American investor has kept a professional distance from the club’s dressing room while observing from afar and taking measure of the progress so far.

After the dramatic win over Brighton, Todd Boehly finally broke his silence on the club.

He said;

“We have to continue building on the process that the club has enjoyed over the years.

“Our Mantra has not changed from the day we become custodians of Chelsea Football Club.

”We want to win together and make you proud.”

Todd Boehly raided the transfer market to sign dozens of players after assuming the reins as new Chelsea owner.

He has overseen a drastic overhaul of the team with many former players hitting the Stamford Bridge’s exit lane this summer.

Despite the prodigious changes and alterations in the squad, Chelsea seemed to be struggling still but have maintained a recent string of better performances.

With the win against Brighton, the Blues are 10th on the Premier League table with 19 points from 14 games.
