Mason Greenwood Hits First Getafe Brace in 12-0 Copa Del Rey Win! [VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS]

Mason Greenwood has continued on his stellar start to life in Madrid as he bagged a brace in Getafe’s 12-0 win over sixth division side Tardienta in Copa Del Rey, MySportDab reports.

It was a rout for the Madrid-based club as they smashed Tardienta mercillessly to get themselves off the mark in Copa Del Rey.

Mason Greenwood contributed two goals to the rout and nearly bagged a hat-trick but his third goal was chalked off

The two goals were spectacular goals after well-worked moves that put Tardienta defenders at a loss.

His first goal was scored from close range after he was left unmarked with an acre of space leaving him with enough latitude to take a run and tap in a beautiful volley pass Tardienta goalkeeper.

His second goal was the most breathtaking of Getafe’s 12 goals as he took Tardienta defenders to task after he took a solo run before firing into the bottom corner after a flick from his teammate to put Getafe six goals up

Greenwood nearly nailed his hat-trick but his goal was ruled out by the referee but it was still a great and outstanding outing for the Manchester United loanee.

He has now taken his goal tally for Getafe to three goals after he scored his first goal last month for the club in a LaLiga clash against Celta Vigo.

The 22-year-old elite talent is obviously enroute to top level performance after 18 months exile from football and is loving life with Getafe in LaLiga.

MySportDab understands Greenwood is ready to make his loan deal with Getafe permanent and has equally attracted interest from Champions League clubs like Sevilla.

His loan deal will expire at the end of this season with United yet to take a decision on whether to have him back or sell him on a permanent deal after the expiration of the loan deal.
