FT: Manchester City 1-1 Liverpool, Erling Haaland STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Liverpool scored a late one as they held Manchester City to a 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium, MySportDab reports. 

It was the Citizens who had control of things in the match from when it kicks off with them also making it count for themselves.

Erling Haaland goal wasn’t enough as Trent Alexander Arnold was able to make things happen for the Red before the end.

There was so much to play between both teams who made sure they had things under control with them doing everything to score a goal.

Liverpool came in prepared as they intend to make things difficult for the home side who have been so fantastic this season staying top of the table.

Manchester City shocked many as Erling Haaland name was in the starting lineup despite reports claiming the player is expected to remain out of playing for a while.

Erling Haaland made it count in the 27th minutes from a beautiful goal which came after some exciting play saw Nathan Ake setting up the assist to make it 1-0.

The goal was the only talking point which saw some wasted opportunities but it couldn’t change the scoreline which remain in favor of Manchester City against Liverpool.

The second half started with some minor changes made by Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp which they wanted to make sure they made it through with maximum points.

Manchester City were solid making sure the scoreline remained in their favor as they attack while also securing their defensive position in case of an error.

Liverpool continued giving all their best with hopes of making a comeback which failed to happen with the match hitting the one hour mark.

Trent Alexander Arnold scored in the 80th minutes which saw a good effort from the defender who was able to make things level 1-1.

Manchester City had everything working out until the late goal which  saw them ending 1-1 against Liverpool in another massive encounter in the Premier League.
