Sir Jim Ratcliffe Eye Graham Potter as Erik ten Hag Replacement

Graham Potter has emerged as a shock candidate to replace Erik ten Hag should Sir Jim Ratcliffe decide to part ways with ten Hag, MySportDab reports.

Graham Potter took a sabbatical from football after he was sacked by Chelsea but is hoping to return to the dugout soon.

According to reports reaching us from Transfer Live, the English gaffer is a possible candidate to replace Erik ten Hag if Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants to sack the Dutch.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is said to be a big fan of Graham Potter and would like to work with the former Chelsea boss when his bid for a partial ownership of Manchester United is ratified.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is now the frontrunner to take over the reins at Old Trafford after his rival Sheikh Jassim withdrew from the race.

The Ineos chief executive and petrochemical guru has launched a £1.4bn bid to buy 25% of the club and will be handed control of Manchester United sporting/football operations in collaboration with a member of the Glazers’ family – Joel Glazer.

With Erik ten Hag struggling to find his feet in his second season as Manchester United manager, speculations have already gone rife that he could be shown the exit door when Sir Jim Ratcliffe take over sporting operations at the club.
