Manchester United Confirm ‘Bad Injury’ Update On Lisandro Martinez!

Manchester United have confirmed a grim injury update on top defender Lisandro Martinez, MySportDab reports.

United club statement revealed Lisandro Martinez will be ruled out of action for the club for an extended period of time due to an ankle issue.

The club’s full statement confirming the deadly injury blow reads;

“Lisandro Martinez will be out of action for an extended period due to an aggravation of the foot injury he suffered in April.

“The Argentinian defender experienced the setback in our Premier League game against Arsenal earlier this mont

“Martinez bravely continued playing for the following two games against Brighton & Hove Albion and Bayern Munich.h.

“But it has now been determined that he needs a period on the sidelines for recovery and rehabilitation. Assessment is ongoing to decide next steps.

Everyone at Manchester United sends Lisandro our best wishes and looks forward to him coming back as soon as possible.”

It is the second time Lisandro Martinez will be on a long spell on the sidelines due to a bad injury crisis.

He was ruled out of a large number of Manchester United games towards the end of the season after he suffered a fracture of his metatarsal bone in Europa League clash against Sevilla.

Before United began their current campaign, Lisandro Martinez was back to Man United training and was in action for the club.

Now, he will be set for another spell on the sidelines due to the injury crisis that has been reported by the club.

While Manchester United have not revealed when Lisandro Martinez may likely return, sources close to the club have revealed Licha will likely miss up to three months of action.
