OFFICIAL: Liverpool Announce Exit of 11 First Team Players [See Full List]

Liverpool have confirmed the departure of 11 first team players this summer, MySportDab reports.

The Reds are looking to overhaul and reshape the aging Liverpool squad after struggling in the Premier League last season.

Liverpool crashed out of Champions League football for the first time under the Jurgen Klopp era after they finished 5th on the Premier League below the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle United.

The club needed to reform and reshuffle the squad ahead of next season campaign as they brace up to return to winning ways.

It has been confirmed already legendary Brazil forward and prolific scorer, Roberto Firmino has left the club with a move to Saudi Arabia on the table.

Liverpool wanted to renew Roberto Firmino contract with the club but the Brazil striker refused to pen a new contract after losing his starting berth at the club to Liverpool new forward signings last summer – Darwin Nunez and Gody Gakpo.

Other Liverpool players who were out of contract will now join Roberto Firmino away from the club.

With the club entering new month of the year and contract of players running out yesterday, Liverpool have officially confirmed all the names of players leaving the club this summer as their contracts expires yesterday.

A core of Jurgen Klopp’s first team players dominates the list.

Other major names on the list apart from Roberto Firmino are James Milner, Oxlade Chamberlain, and Naby Keita.

James Milner has been a part of the Klopp’s core first team since the German took over as Liverpool manager.

Naby Keita and Oxlade Chamberlain Liverpool’s spell were marred with injuries but were an integral part of Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
