OFFICIAL! Manchester City Unveil Mateo Kovacic [VIDEO]

Manchester City has unveiled new signing Mateo Kovacic who joins from Chelsea, MySportDab reports.

The Croatia International completes a move to another Premier League after an agreement reached between both clubs.

Mateo Kovacic has been unveiled by Manchester City who bought the midfielder to replace Ilkay Gundogan who is heading to Barcelona.

Pep Guardiola is also still in the market which he will be hoping to bring in one more midfielder if Bernardo Silva make a move.

The Premier League Champions are looking to make sure they cover up any vacant space left by departing players this summer.

Mateo Kovacic is coming in with a lot of experience which could easily see him become a regular player with the team ahead of the new season.

Manchester City made the official announcement today after the success of the player medical which was done at the club medical center.

Here Is What Was Said:

“This is a brilliant move for me, and I cannot wait to get started with City,” Kovacic said.

“Anyone who has watched this team under Pep knows how good they are – for me, they are the best in the world.

“The trophies they have won are clear for all to see, but they are also the best footballing side out there.

“To be joining this squad really is a dream for any footballer.

“I still have plenty of learning and developing to do, and I know under Pep’s management I can become a better player, which is really exciting for me.

“My plan now is to rest for a few weeks before coming back to Manchester to prepare for the new season.

“I want to help this club stay at the top and win more trophies.”

The Preseason for Manchester City will kickoff in July where all players will be making their return from holidays.

The City side are also looking to do as much as possible to add more quality to enable them fight to retain their title next season.

Mateo Kovacic will join the rest of the team as they will look to make their preparations for the new season.
