Hazard hit the peaks of his football career while he was at Lille where he started his club career.

He became the first young player in French Ligue 1 to win French Ligue 1 Player of the season for two consecutive times.

He helped Lille win the French Ligue 1 title and the League Cup, scoring 50 goals for the club in 190 appearances.

After a brilliant career in French Ligue 1, Eden Hazard joined Chelsea in 2012, becoming a key member of the Blues’ squad throughout his seven-year stint with the club.

He made 245 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions, scoring 85 goals. Hazard won the Europa League, Premier League, EFL Cup, FA Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and UEFA Super with Chelsea before leaving the club.

He signed a five year contract and was a record signing for Real Madrid costing £143.1m in transfer fee.

Hazard bagged a record deal with the La Liga giants, pocketing £400,000 weekly to become club’s highest-paid player.

He was tipped for a brilliant career with the Los Blancos given his brilliant performance at Lille and Chelsea.

Against expectations, Hazard’s Real Madrid career turned out a nightmare as he struggled with spates of ankle and harmstring injuries.

Hazard missed a total of 78 games at Real Madrid due to injuries and has played a bit part role in the club’s European and La Liga success.

He also fell down Carlo Ancelotti’s pecking order with the latter preferring to start Vinicius Jr ahead of the Belgian.

Hazard has managed just 70 appearances for Real Madrid with just 7 La Liga goals in his four years at the club.

He has one-year remaining in his Real Madrid contract but the club has decided to end his contract a year earlier due to his struggle for game time under Ancelotti and the niggling injury challenge.

According to the Athletic, Eden Hazard may likely consider retirement following the Real Madrid deadlock but he has been linked to a move to Saudi Arabia.
